FAST Webinar – Friday, May 14, 2010
The Postal Service continues to look at all areas of its business with an eye to becoming more efficient and cost effective. At the same time, its commitment to customer service remains a top priority.
With this in mind, the Postal Service is inviting you to attend a Facility Access and Shipment Tracking (FAST) webinar. Learn about many benefits of FAST for both drop shipped and origin-entered mailings, such as the simplified process for scheduling and managing appointments, streamlined data maintenance, and a reduction in overall appointment wait times. As part of this overview, a walk-through of the FAST application detailing appointment scheduling procedures and reporting features will be provided. The webinar will also outline the FAST appointment requirements for Full-Service Mailers (further information on this topic can be found in the attached document, “Facility Access and Shipment Tracking Appointment Container Association”).
Customers can participate in the FAST webinar this Friday, May 14 @ 1 pm – 3 pm (EST). A question-and-answer session via “chat room” will follow the FAST presentation. Note that FAST users will receive a REMINDER eMail notification containing all required MeetingPlace dial-in information. Please contact Lauren Zalewski, Manager, Postage Technology Management at 202-268-8504 or e-mail lauren.zalewski@usps.gov if you have any questions.
