BCC Vice President of Software Engineering Chosen to Help Lead Association of Postal Commerce

Rochester, NY, February 18, 2010 — BCC Software, a BÖWE BELL + HOWELL company and a leading developer of high-performance solutions for professional mailers, announces that BCC Vice President of Software Engineering Bob Schimek has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Association of Postal Commerce (PostCom), a leading mailing industry organization.

As a member of the Board, Schimek’s duties will include dealing with issues facing PostCom members and the greater postal industry, and helping to shape proposed postal policies, regulations, and penalties.

Schimek joined BCC in 2009, bringing over 20 years of mailing industry experience. An acknowledged thought leader on postal issues, he is also co-chair of the IDEAlliance Mail.dat workgroup, and has extensive experience working directly with key USPS personnel on clarifying modifications to postal rules and regulations.
